What to do right after receiving an account
Four steps in order: change the password, turn on two-factor authentication, end all other sessions in the security settings, and review which devices and apps hold access.
If the account mailbox was handed to you, change the mailbox password first and the service password second. The other order accomplishes little: password recovery runs through the mailbox.
Check the payment method inside the account: someone else’s card attached to the subscription will eventually stop renewing it. Ask the seller about that while the guarantee window is still open.
