Why the account email owner matters

Because whoever owns the email can reset the password. If the email stayed with the seller, they can technically take access back at any point — handing you the password does not change that.

The platform does not hide this; every offer states it in a separate field: buyer’s email, seller’s email, or the email handed over with the account. The third option is nearly as good as your own account: you hold the mailbox password and the recovery path.

If a seller takes access back, that is a dispute they lose: the deal was to hand over access, not to lend it.
