Subscription on your own email versus a ready account
The difference is who owns the account. With a subscription you create the account and the seller only pays for the plan inside — they cannot technically take access back. A ready account was created by the seller, and if the email stayed theirs, password recovery is in their hands too.
A subscription costs more effort: you register the account and let the seller pay for yours specifically. A ready account is faster and usually cheaper, but fits tasks where losing access would not hurt.
If the tool connects to your work project, calendar or storage — take a subscription on your own email and the ownership question disappears for good.
